Charlottesville Women in Tech (CWIT) is a nonprofit organization for emerging and established professionals that provides human connections and resources for women and girls interested in or associated with technology. Our vision is to bridge the gender gap in tech by providing a safe and welcoming environment for women and girls to connect, learn and collaborate in Charlottesville.

Charlottesville Women in Tech (CWIT) X UVA Engineering Research Speaker Series is an exciting event happening at Rice Hall. Join us for an evening full of inspiring talks from leading women in the UVa tech industry. This is a great opportunity to network, learn, and be inspired.

Learn about some of the fascinating women-led research happening in the Engineering School at UVA! Topics will cover wearable devices, computer science education, tissue regeneration, and bro culture in technology fields.
